Created by P.E.A.C.E., Inc., through Connect2Work is 15 programs designed to provide unemployed or underemployed individuals with job readiness, skills training and position placement as well as any other resources needed to overcome obstacles to employment.

A successful work experience involves more than just getting a job. It’s about getting the right training, learning how to professionally interact with people, sharpening interview skills, getting the right amount of sleep and nutrition, dressing appropriately, and much more, so you can provide for yourself and your family for the long term.

P.E.A.C.E., Inc.’s Connect2Work programs will help prepare you in numerous ways:

• Manage your stress
• Solve problems and improve communication skills
• Learn to use computers and the Internet
• Reinforce positive work habits
• Cultivate better workplace ethics and safety

Your health and fitness is critical. Health and nutrition services will be available for eligible individuals, including those suffering from chronic illnesses. In addition, food assistance programs will be expanded to meet demonstrated need.
