Multifamily Building Performance Analyst- Energy & Housing

Requires a minimum of five years experience with building energy conservation techniques using diagnostic equipment associated with completing comprehensive multifamily energy audits. Building Performance Institute (BPI) certification as a Multifamily Building Analyst, Envelope Professional and Heating Professional or the ability to obtain certifications within one year is compulsory.  An A.S. degree in Construction Technology or Engineering Technology is a plus.

 Must be capable of evaluating and recommending energy systems retrofits and/or upgrades that would increase multifamily building system efficiency, and must have the ability to assess a wide range of buildings and various types of building energy systems. Included are health and safety recommendations, design and installation specifications, utility and energy use tracking and appliance evaluation.

 Must have the ability to juggle multiple projects and be flexible with changing timetables and prioritizing workload.  Must have excellent interpersonal, communication and writing skills, and experience in Microsoft Word and Excel.  Experience with TREAT (Targeted Residential Energy Analysis Tool) energy auditing software is a plus.  A current NYS driver license is required.  Must pass an initial drug screening and periodic screenings as required.
