Through long standing collaborations with the Towns of Camillus and Elbridge, Project R.O.S.E. (Reach Out to Serve the Elderly) provides support to senior citizens needing information and referrals to available services and resources. Project R.O.S.E.’s senior advocates work with seniors, especially the isolated and homebound, needing assistance in order to remain independent and living in their own home.
Services include assessment, information and referral, advocacy, application assistance, and education. Direct services include, but are not limited to; assistance with completing and submitting HEAP, Food Stamps, Medicare, Medicaid and Life Line applications and recertification; referrals to weatherization and home repair, legal assistance, senior nutrition/meals on wheels, housing, medical and social programs. Project ROSE is a free service to the community. All information is confidential.
