Saturday, February 8, Beauchamp Library was awash with anticipation (and relief!) PEACE, Inc.’s Free Tax Program, a member of United Way of Central New York’s CA$H Coalition and the VITA program, put on a great Super Saturday event. Volunteers helped over 60 households complete their tax filings. Ultimately, over $130k in refunds were put back into their pockets. Not bad for a Saturday morning’s work!

We’re grateful to our team of staff and volunteers and our brilliant partners at KeyBank and Beauchamp Branch Library for making this happen. It’s through their collective efforts that we’re able to ease the burdens – and increase the rewards – of tax time for income constrained members of our community.
