At Head Start, learning about nutritious eating is a fun, hands-on experience. Recently at our Merrick location, Room 211 shopped for fruit and vegetables at their mini-farmers market. The kids cut up their favorite fruits and veggies and enjoyed a healthy, fresh lunch. Positive associations early on can help form a foundation for lifelong healthy eating habits. Way to go, Room 211!!
