Give-A-Holiday 2025

December 5 and 8, 2025

Help us deliver warmth, comfort, and relief to the families that we serve across the community.

For PEACE, Inc.’s low-income families, 2025 has brought unprecedented challenges. Rising costs for essentials -food, housing, and healthcare- and threats of decreased support have created stress and fear. Because a disproportionate amount of their income goes to meeting these basic needs, inflation hits low-income families the hardest, making it difficult to plan for -or respond to- emergencies.

This year, we’re changing our approach and want to do more. We are looking to provide essential relief to the majority of our clients—over 800 children and countless families—by securing the basic necessities that they need to thrive.

Our Lofty Goals: Relief for Our Community

With your help, we can accomplish three critical objectives this holiday season:

    • Warmth & Learning for Head Start Youth (Ages 0–5): Ensure each of PEACE, Inc.’s more than 800 Head Start children receives the new books and warm winter items (unisex hats, gloves, scarves, and socks) that they need to learn and to succeed.
    • Essential Relief for Families: Provide families served by our Family Resource Centers and our PEACE, Inc. Big Brothers Big Sisters program with essential Gift Baskets containing much-needed new items not covered by SNAP, such as toiletries, diapers, towels, and more—bringing crucial relief to their household budgets.
    • Emergency Support: Maintain the agency’s ability to meet the critical, emergency needs of our families throughout the challenging winter season.

4 Ways You Can Make a Difference

Your generous support is the engine that has made our mission possible for more than 57 years: “to help people in the community realize their potential for becoming self-sufficient.”

(We kindly request all donations be new items.)

1. Donate to Head Start Children (Ages 0–5)

Warmth: Unisex hats, gloves, mittens, scarves, and socks for ages 0 to 5.
Books: Titles from authors like Mo Willems, Eric Carle, or the Indestructibles series for babies.

For book suggestions and/or purchases, shop our Amazon Wishlist.

2. Create a Gift Basket for a Family

Baskets with a focus on SNAP-Exempt Essentials: toiletries (deodorants, shampoos, soaps, etc.), diapers, all-purpose cleaner, laundry detergent, bath towels, and paper products (toilet paper, paper towels, baby wipes, etc.). Fun items like board games are also welcome!
