Heather Guerin started as a Head Start Teacher Aide in 2009, and has been an Early Head Start Teacher at the Merrick building since 2013. She was nominated for this honor by her co-workers for consistently making herself available to assist others with their work or to fill in when someone else is not available, throughout every part of our largest classroom site: from helping newer teachers with their lesson plans, to helping in the kitchen, to watching the front desk, to riding as a school bus monitor.
