Becky Gellert has been a Health Advocate in our Head Start program since September of last year, having served our Liverpool and Genesee classroom sites as well as some of our collaboration organizations. Her co-workers throughout these locations agree that the qualities that help her excel in this role include her work ethic, and the knowledge and expertise that she brings from her previous extensive daycare experience, and the many little things she does to lift people’s spirits.

This week in our PEACE, Inc. Big Brothers Big Sisters program, the kids made holiday crafts, enjoyed snacks, and received PEACE, Inc. BBBS hoodies as gifts!
We currently have 28 bigs and 22 littles in the program there and our senior match manager Erin Daino says that she has a handful more of each looking to join in.
On Saturday evening, December 14th, PEACE, Inc. Big Brothers Big Sisters had an unforgettable night! We sent approximately 20 bigs and littles to experience the magic of the Tony Award-winning musical “The Lion King” at Syracuse’s Landmark Theatre.
