Thank you Heather, for everything you do, and congratulations for being chosen as our Employee of the Month for October!
Bob Davis has been a technician in our IT Department supporting the Head Start / Early Head Start program since 2008. He was previously recognized as Employee of the Month in August 2011, and has been nominated by his colleagues again for his can-do attitude, excellent customer service skills, positive outlook, boisterous sense of humor, and the unwavering dedication that he demonstrates in tackling difficult issues and in contributing his technical skills beyond his normal job duties. As a recent example, within the past two weeks Bob performed the early-morning setup and troubleshooting of the audio equipment at two big events for all HS/EHS program staff.
Congratulations to Bob Davis for being awarded Employee of the Month for a second time!

Domini Vaughn began working in the Head Start program in 2003 as an Administrative Assistant, and has been a Data Quality Assistant since 2008. She was previously recognized as the Employee of the Month in December 2006 for her consistent thoroughness and dedication to her work, and is being honored with this award again for the extra effort she has given while her team has been short-staffed, especially this month during the completion of the annual Program Information Report.
Thank you, Domini, and congratulations for being awarded Employee of the Month again!
On July 15, a full field of participants enjoyed an especially bright and sunny day at Sunset Ridge Golf Course for the Second Annual PEACE, Inc. Big Brothers Big Sisters Golf Scramble. Golfers were challenged by a competitive course as well hole-in-one, longest drive, and putting challenges. At the end of the event, the golfers enjoyed a great buffet. Proceeds went to the PEACE, Inc. Big Brothers Big Sisters Program and its efforts to provide 1-to-1 mentorship opportunities for Central New York youth.
Thanks go to not only the PEACE, Inc. Big Brothers Big Sisters’ Advisory Council for organizing the event but also the many community sponsors. We’re already planning to make the event bigger and better next year.
