Building Resilience for Human Service Staff and Families

Location: Plymouth Congregational Church, 232 E Onondaga St, Syracuse, NY 13202 (Entrance on E. Onondaga St.)
Please join us for the first of two free community convenings on October 1 (9:30 to 11:30 AM). Together, we will learn, discuss, and develop the resiliency that our community needs to meet basic needs.
The convening is open to all. Direct service staff, parents, and community members are especially asked to attend and to raise their voices.
The convening builds on recommendations from last year’s Whole Family Summit to Meet Basic Needs, which was organized by FOCUS Greater Syracuse, Inc. and PEACE, Inc. It provides a space to learn from experts, generate solutions, and form practical partnerships among participants.
The convening is free, though registration is required. Individuals can register until September 29 for the October 1 event. Space is limited, so register today!
We will begin the morning with coffee, tea, and light snacks. A brief Keynote will set the stage for our work.

FREE Clothing Drive!

Time: 9:00 am to 4:30 pm
Location: Tully Masonic Lodge (rear entrance) at 13 State Street, Tully, NY.
Join us for the PEACE, Inc. County South Family Resource Center FREE Clothing Drive! We’ll have a wide variety of fall and winter clothing available for all ages, and it’s all completely free.
We are also accepting donations of clean, good-condition fall and winter clothing. Drop them off on the following days:
Monday, September 29th: 2:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Tuesday, September 30th: 2:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Wednesday, October 1st: 2:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Thursday, October 2nd: 2:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
